I have been waiting I believe almost a year for these guys. I think it was close to a year I ago that I came across the Black Pastel Mojave that was posted on Ball-python.net. The poster was referencing the Black Pastel Mojave as the “Black Magic”. He wasn’t kidding either. Check out the pic below:

This morning it turns out that I have 5 chances at hitting the odds and producing a “Black Magic”. I really want to hit on a male to hold back for myself. It would be super sweet if we produce more than one of them. Could you imagen if all 5 eggs turn out to be full of magic? Hehehe I had to…

(It’s like Christmas in April!)

 

I am so happy we ended up with 5 eggs. When I originally palpated the mojave female I only felt 3 maybe 4 eggs.  Boy am I glad I was wrong. I’ll take all I can get. I almost forgot, all of the eggs are possible het ghost as well!!!

We also got another clutch today as well. Not as exciting, but well worth it if you ask me. It was a clutch from one of my normal females that was bred by our pied. Hoping for a clutch filled with females on that one.  Who doesn’t need an army of female het pieds? LOL!

This girl is killing me. She is one of my pastel girls who is filled with eggs. She is building, growing, glowing. She is holding some of my prize possessions this year. But she won’t tell me what’s inside them. The anticipation is killing me. She could have pastels, spiders, pinstripes, super pastels, lemon blasts, bees, super blasts, and killerbees. Oh my!

Yup I bred my male bee and my male lemon blast to her. And the outcome will not be known for a long time. Not that long, but long enough.  I do know one thing. She’s got EGGS and it’s killing me!
