Everyday is easter!

Eggs a plenty here at MightyMorphs. It seems everyday now we are getting real nice clutches of eggs. I just came back in from the snake room and came back with 6 nice pearly whites. They were from one of my light normal girls, she was bred by my stud of a male pinstripe.

We’ve also gotten eggs from our mojoxmojo pair. Only 4 eggs though. I could of sworn I felt 6 follicles in here last time I palpated her. I even wrote it down on her tub.

I am so excited about this season. We have the chance to produce some pieds, bels, pinstripes, mojos, bees, yellowbellys, enchis. The list goes on. One pairing I am really looking forward to seeing the outcome of is this wild normal girl who I put my pied in with. She is supposed to be a normal, but something about her just isn’t right. She even has pied markers all down her belly. I know I could be wishing on a star with that one, but man it sure would be sweet if something cool popped out of one of her eggs.

Here are some recent pics.

Well we finally did it. My wife and I have started our own Leopard Gecko colony. We have been eyeing them for a while now. With good reason, look at all of their color combos, morphs, genetic lines. It was only a matter of time until we got suckered into them.

We got lucky this go around, a friend of our was getting out of the gecko scene. S0 we were able to pick up an established group for a great deal. We hope to start getting eggs beginning sometime in the first few months of the new year! It is so exciting to be bringing on a new project. We hope to share our experiences with you all in the near future!

Here’s to leo babies in 2010!
