What is a paradox? Let me show you :-)

Recently we hatched out a clutch of albinos from our albino male x a proven het albino female. As luck would have it while we were cleaning them off we noticed one of them had a small black patch on its face. At first I thought woo hoo! A paradox! But I figured before I post pics or talked about it much I would let him shed out and see what he looks like then.

Well he has shed out along with the rest of his clutch mates and he is smoking! He has a small paradox spot above his eye, that actually looks like it blends into his eye. So what does this mean? A paradox on a snake is like when one section of the morph looks like a normal or has a normal coloring. That’s how I look at it, I could be wrong, so don’t hold me too it. What I do know is that it is very unique and rare. Two paradox animals will never look alike.

On this little guy you can see that one of his eyes are a perfect pink color.

On the other its more darker, almost a shade of color between pink and a normal eye.

He is just amazing. I haven’t decided if I want to keep him or not yet. I do know he is smoking and I am proud to have him in my rack. ;-)

Is there anyhing sweeter then a tub of albino hatchlings?

Oh yeah! They finally came out of the eggs and the results are in… We have 2 male albinos, 1 female albino,  2 male hets and 1 female het. Not the best of odds sex wise but we will take it.

One thing I noticed, all of the babies are porkers!! They are huge. Momma must of been healthy when she layed these guys, cause the eggs were huge, the babies are huge, another great clutch from her.

Next up, spider 100% het albinos. They are pipping, just need them to climb out of the eggs!

More pics to come….
