We are finally getting back into the swing of things here. After a nice long month and a half of pneumonia, the flu, you name it, we are feeling much better! Thank goodness because we have a lot of snake stuff to get caught up on. Girls to breed, boys to feed, rats to raise, its a never ending cycle that sometimes we can get lost in.
Yesterday a good friend of ours gave us a call, he had a major problem… He had an over abundance of rats! That’s the kind of problem I like to hear! I was more the happy to come over and take some of his problem off of his hands. My girls are like rabid beasts this time of year. Every time I open a tub they are looking for food with a vengeance! I love it.
For the new year I am going to try and update this blog a little more often. It’s going to be hard because we are shooting for the stars this year with clutches and I hope to be real busy real soon. We do have a few females laying inverted and some that are really glowing. So I hope to see some ovulations real soon. Lets keep our fingers crossed, I can’t wait to get babies this year!
If you’re heading out to the NY Reptile Expo in white plains on the 23rd make sure you come by and say hello to us. We will have our table again on the left hand side of the stage. We are almost out of all of 2010 babies but we do have a mojave, some pastels, and hets available. We will also have some leopard geckos available too.
I hope you have a great new year and I will talk to you soon! The next blog is going to focus on a male we received this season who we are super excited to be working with. So stay tuned!
