Getting ready for Thanksgiving?

Here we are a little less than a week before Thanksgiving. Did you get your turkey yet? We did. We were lucky enough to find a big 20lb bird at our local supermarket before they had sold out of them like last year. Thank god, its like hunting for turkey without actually doing so! HA!

Are you guys coming to the next Whiteplains reptile Expo on the 27th? We will be going and bringing a few cool animals as well. We will also have some new and used snake racks. We have begun testing and producing our own line of racks. We cant wait to show them off! We have gone all out and recessed the flexwatt, routed some cool edges, and done a few other neat things to them. So make sure you guys check them out when we release more info!

If you’re interested in learning more about our racks shoot us an email! I am going to try to get more updates on the blog here soon. Its been a real busy few months and things have gotten crazy! We have begun pairing some males and females. Some exciting locks so far! We’ve caught our special lemon blast male locking with our mojave female, our enchi has been a stud, and our bee male has been working it! We are very ecited for the coming season.

More to come..

Scored some new racks, got some bad news, whirlwind of a week.

Hey guys, hope all is well with you. This past week has been one hell of a ride. To start it off we scored some practically brand new vision racks for nearly half off retail price! We got a total of 4 of them. I cannot wait to move everyone around and get them into use. In my opinion these racks heat much nicer and overall my snakes like them much better. I do have another vision that I have been using and I was very impressed with the quality and overall performance of it. So I had to have more.

On another note it seems as if the past 3 months has been nothing but health problems for me. Turns out I do have a hernia and will be needing surgery to correct it. As it stands right now I can barely walk, let alone get out to the snake shack. Rachel is really going to have to step it up and help out with breeding, watering, and feeding some of the bigger girls for me. We are smack dab right in the middle of breeding season and this could not have come at a worse time. We are at the start of a very busy season and I really need to be 100%. So it’s safe to say stress levels are really high at this point. I don’t know how everything is going to turn out and I really could use a clone of myself to help take care of the snakes. I am almost tempted to move all the racks right into my bedroom so I can just roll out of bed and right to the racks.

This Rachel will go for it? LOL
I’ll try to update this blog a little more often if I can. It’s just been all around tough here lately.

Booo!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! We had a blast here. The kids got dressed up and so did I!  It was a blast! I wore a foam latex prostetic from http://www.screamteam.com. It took me a total of 2 hours and change to get it on with makeup and all! Everyone loved it! I just wish I got a clearer picture of it.

Over the weekend the snakes got a little freaky with themselves as well. A cold front moved in so I decided to pair up a couple of groups.  It couldn’t hurt.
